Terms of participation

Our group classes are free and open to everyone. So that everyone can have a safe and fun time, these simple terms apply.

Free and voluntary

The group classes are free, and taking part is voluntary. Please let us know in the Facebook group if you're coming, so we know roughly how many we'll be.

Health and your own pace

You train at your own risk and at your own pace. Listen to your body, choose the version of each exercise that suits you, and take a break when you need one.

  • If you have an injury or illness, are pregnant or have recently given birth, or aren't sure whether training is right for you now: talk to your doctor before you start.
  • Tell the trainer before the class about anything we should take into account, and we'll adapt.
  • Stop and tell us straight away if you feel pain, get dizzy or feel unwell.

Children

Children are very welcome. Children who come along are their parents' or guardians' responsibility at all times, including when they join in. Keep children away from equipment and stations that are in use.

Venue and equipment

We borrow venues, including the gym hall at Blomvåg kindergarten. Follow the venue's rules, wear clean indoor shoes inside, and help tidy up after the class. Tell us if something breaks.

Liability and insurance

Happy Human is liable under the ordinary rules of Norwegian tort law. We aren't liable for injuries caused by not following instructions, or for loss of or damage to personal belongings.

We recommend that you have your own accident insurance.

Photos

We sometimes take photos during classes for Facebook and Instagram. We never publish photos in which you can be recognised without your permission, and photos of children only with their parents' consent. Read more in our privacy policy.

Changes and cancellations

We may move or cancel classes, for example because of illness or bad weather. Changes are posted in the Facebook group as early as possible.

Good vibes

Respect the other participants. We don't compare ourselves with each other here, and we don't comment on other people's bodies. Anyone who spoils it for others may be asked to leave.
